We like to think of ourselves as Power Rangers – individually fabulous at our roles, but once a month we unite as one to bring you the best magazines containing the best local businesses and community contributions.
It’s only right that you should meet the team!
Emily Carrington-Morris
Managing Director
The one who planted the acorn back in 2010. Likes new challenges and never afraid to throw herself in at the deep end, even when she knows it is unlikely to work! She has also been known to be a tiny bit competitive and loves her sport and her animals. Her super power is spotting potential problems before they arise and always having a plan!
Liam Carrington-Morris
Financial Director
A lover of all things Spreadsheet, can’t get enough of excel and numbers! As the resident ‘details’ person, he will also spot typos at 10 paces, usually. Ultimately, all aspects of the business that involves numbers rests with Liam. In his spare time (the little he has), his first love of field Hockey takes precedence between September and April, closely followed by Liverpool FC and of course, walking Flake!
Michelle Outram
Office Manager
Michelle is never happier than when everything is perfectly neat and ordered. There isn’t a system that we have that isn’t streamlined and runs like clockwork. Absolute heart of gold, eats like a dustbin and never puts on an ounce! Loves walking and whatever you do, don’t ask for her opinion on anything if you don’t want the honest truth!
Sarah Burton
Account Manager
Absolutely loves a good yarn and always has a good story to tell. I don’t think there is a single person that she doesn’t know or is friends with someone who knows them and she always bumps into someone she knows when she’s out and about. In her spare time, Sarah is a secret Mrs Hinch lover and her favourite accessory is a crochet doily!
Lisa Artliff
Graphic Designer
With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of graphic design, she really knows her stuff, so don’t be fooled by her ditzy demeanour. She can turn her hand to anything in the graphic world but in her spare time she likes to paint and draw, specialising in watercolours.
Flake
Junior Office Dog
Flake is in charge of meeting and greeting. He likes to assess everyone who comes through the door and if you don’t fuss him, he will not give you his seal of approval! Mostly though, he is found in one of the office beds snoring and only rousing during meal or snack times! In his spare time, he loves a good walk and where possible, ingesting some random food found on his walks.
Dave, Roger & Javon
Distribution Team
These guys are the backbone of our distribution operation. Jay is the quiet, counting machine who plays referee between Emily and Liam when in the portacabin sorting out the pallets for the individual rounds. He is partial to a chocolate cornflake crispy though and he has a dark sense of humour – he must have, he supports Man Utd FC! David is one of our drivers and whilst old school with the technology, he very literally has a live map in his head! If David was a contestant on ‘You Bet’, it would be knowing exactly where a place is from a street name in the Midlands. Loves his walks and his real Ales and loves to travel the country watching amateur football clubs. Roger is our other driver and is a machine! He is a Scout Leader in his spare time and it shows through with his ‘can do’ attitude and resourcefulness, although, he’s another one with a dark sense of humour! He loves his walks, the outdoors and likes to referee his daughters football matches in his spare time.
